The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 28, 2020, features Jordan (rightfully) getting it from all sides, the Corinthos holiday taking a tragic turn, and Paxie extending an olive branch.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) managed to track Curtis (Donnell Turner) down and did her utmost to convince him to return home. But Curtis, much to Jordan’s surprise, wasn’t in the mood to forgive and forget. And he also didn’t appreciate her throwing his decades-old failures in his face – funny that.
Instead, Curtis wanted to confront their present day troubles. The one that boils down to Jordan being incapable of being a team player; always a “me” and never a “we.” Jordan poo-pooed her spouse’s concerns and insisted that her sins of omission were perfectly justifiable.
Curtis disagreed. For him, marriage was a two-way street and communication and honesty were just as important as fidelity. And since Jordan can’t seem to tell her husband the truth, about anything, he’s not so sure that he wants to remain married.
Jordan stalked off, still convinced that she was the injured party. Meanwhile, back at the Ashford apartment, Molly (Haley Pullos) was busy confessing her one night stand with Brando (Johnny Wactor) to T.J. (Tajh Bellow)…and throwing Jordan under the bus for good measure.
Upon arriving home, Jordan found her son sitting alone and brooding. When she wondered what was the matter, T.J. launched into a tirade about her secret-keeping. Jordan tried to explain herself but to no avail. T.J. MIGHT be willing to overlook Molly’s mistake…but it’s not looking good for Jordan.
Mission: Improbable
Liesl (Kathleen Gati) slapped on her best Farrah Fawcett wig and accompanied Franco (Roger Howarth) and Scotty (Kin Shriner) into a GH conference room, Scooby-Doo-style. Franco briefly helped in the perusal through his medical file before taking off to reunite with Elizabeth, a melancholy Cameron (William Lipton), and a visiting Terry (Cassandra James).
A Blue Christmas
The PCPD interrupted the Corinthos family gathering to explain that Sonny (Maurice Benard) may have well met his maker in The Hudson River. The news, understandably, upset all the attendees…except for Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton), who’d already had some time to process.
Family Ties
Over at GH, Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) decided to name their daughter Louise – and call her Lu in honor of Lulu (Emme Rylan). The two also invited Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) to spend the holidays with them. And it was an invitation that the clearly ailing doc couldn’t refuse. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
