The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, July 21, 2020, features a flashback to May of this year. In that episode, Cyrus’ nice guy act didn’t fool anybody, Mac came calling with a ton of questions, and Michael played gallant knight.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) made his way up to the Metro Court restaurant and made sure that his presence was known. Laura (Genie Francis) and Carly (Laura Wright) did their best to focus on the conversation at hand – Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) lawsuit against the hospital and the very real concern that the institution could close its doors – but both were distracted by Cyrus.
The villain made his way over to the women’s table and cockily extended invitations to a house warming party that he was throwing himself. Laura need not reveal her address – her physical copy of the invite would be hand-delivered since he knows where she and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) reside! But would Carly like to hand over her and Sonny’s address?
She would not. But she kindly pointed out that he could send it to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) place of business…didn’t Cyrus know where that was? After his little tete-a-tete was concluded, Cyrus made his way to GH where he was accosted by Trina (Sydney Mikayla), who was less than thrilled to see her father’s murderer out and about.
A Conspiracy Right To The Top
Over at the PCPD, Mac (John J. York) tracked Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and tried to wrap his head around TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) abduction. Why would the kidnappers have gone to the trouble of committing the crime, covering their tracks, and then let TJ go without so much as a ransom demand?
Jordan continued to play to dumb – hey you didn’t expect her to admit that she let a mob boss walk free in order to save her abducted son, did you? No, instead she’s counting on yet another mob moss – this time benevolent, anti-drug, anti-gun Sonny – to rid her of her Cyrus-shaped problem.
A (Complicated) Love Story
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) praised Michael’s (Chad Duell) chivalry in bringing an injured Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to the hospital but she also wondered why he involved himself in the first place. Both concluded that it was hard getting over an ex.
Meanwhile, Finn (Michael Easton) implored Sasha to come clean about her and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) scheme but she didn’t seem too interested. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
