The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 4, 2020, features Nikolas getting a double ultimatum, Molly coming clean, Julian being insightful and Franco saying all the wrong things.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava’s (Maura West) regularly scheduled argument was interrupted by a letter from Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel). And unlike his previous missive, this one had an almost civil tone – even in spite of an ultimatum.

“If you want me in your life, your turncoat wife will have to go.” That was music to Nikolas’ ears. And Ava was ready to acquiesce to the young man as well. So, when was Nikolas planning on packing his bags and moving out?

Nikolas Can’t Believe His Ears

Say what? Nikolas asked. What could his soon-to-be ex-wife possibly mean? Oh! She’s going to hold him to that post-nuptial agreement…the one that entitles her to 90% of the Cassadine fortune.

But that shouldn’t be a problem…right? After all, it’s Spencer that Nikolas really cares about and NOT the money. At least, that’s what Nikolas has been claiming. According to Ava, it’s time to put his literal money where his mouth is.

Molly Is No RBG

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) caught Molly (Haley Pullos), Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) arguing and demanded an explanation. Kristina tried to prod Molly into merely revealing her and TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) plan for a domestic partnership. Sam tried to subtly hint that Molly should come clean about her and Brando’s affair.

Alexis’ insistence on evoking Molly’s nickname – RBG – sent the young woman into a truth-telling frenzy. At least Alexis could appreciate the fact that her daughter and Brando were not related – despite him being Sonny’s kin.

Laying Blame

Molly’s honesty seemed to be catching and it was Sam’s turn to get something off her chest. She blames Kristina for everything…and we do mean everything. Her prison sentence, her status as a parolee, and most importantly her inability to see Jason (Steve Burton).

Responsibility

Neil (Joe Flanigan) made a special trip in order to make sure Julian (William deVry) knew what a despicable human being he was. Not only did he assault Alexis when they were married but his latest actions may cost her job.

Julian was sorry for his exes predicament. But he didn’t have time for the former doctor’s righteous indignation. He did, however, impart some advice: put Alexis and her feelings first.

Argumentative

Franco (Roger Howarth) reacted to Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) concern for him by insulting her worth as an artist. Not cool Franco. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
