The General Hospital recap for May 6, 2020, features Robert deep in mourning, Brook Lynn getting herself into further trouble, Nelle counting her chickens before they’ve hatched, the Davis girls continuing their verbal brawl, and Sonny still in denial about Mike.
Felicia (Kristina Wagner) called Anna (Finola Hughes) and requested her presence at The Floating Rib – Robert (Tristan Rogers) has been on a drinking binge all day and Felicia is sure Anna can help him.
And while Robert bemoaned Holly’s (Emma Samms) passing and received sharp rebukes for insulting a visiting Peter (Wes Ramsey), the object of his ire snuck off to confront a lackey.
The man assured his boss that he had nothing to do with the “incident” that claimed Holly’s life. Peter realized that if there’s one good thing to come out of all this, it’s that Robert finally has something else to focus on. Unluckily for him, Anna’s read the reports of Holly’s death…and her suspicions have been raised.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) talked Michael (Chad Duell) into ditching his tree branch and unleashing his aggression in the boxing ring. Neither was particularly happy when Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived looking for a workout.
And though Michael tried to take the high road, and Sasha tried to leave, Brook Lynn wanted the interlopers to stay…so she could tell them exactly what she thought of them. Her harsh words were punctuated by a right hook to Sasha’s face.
She insisted it was an accident — One of the many she’s been involved in since her reappearance. But when she tore up the citation Chase served her with, she found herself in handcuffs!
After doing her utmost to manipulate Nina (Cynthia Watros), Nelle (Chloe Lanier) phoned Martin (Michael E. Knight) and told him she had found a character witness. But she may have spoken too soon. If Jax (Ingo Rademacher) has anything to say about it, he’ll convince Nina to put Wiley’s well being above all and deny Nelle’s request.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) interpreted Mike’s (Max Gail) request to watch a Yankees game as a sign that his father wasn’t ready to give up the fight. As far as he’s concerned, there will not be a DNR order.
In the spirit of brutal honesty, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) admitted to her daughters that she had fallen off the wagon. Then she was rewarded with a phone call from Diane informing her of her disbarment! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
