The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 4, 2021, features Stella Henry’s emotions getting the better of her, Harrison Chase attempting to decide what he should do about Willow Tait Chase and Michael Corinthos, Trina Robinson getting the 4-1-1 on her mom’s extramarital affair, and Alexis Davis cross-examining Lorraine Miller, AKA Harmony.
While Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) did her best to explain her past association with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to Trina (Sydney Mikayla), Stella (Vernee Watson) admitted to Curtis that she blew up his and Portia’s secret.
Curtis made a beeline for the hospital – where he ran into a seriously disillusioned Trina; Stella remained at Kelly’s where her blood pressure continued to rise, and she began to exhibit symptoms of an oncoming stroke. During a disconcerting conversation with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), she collapsed in a heap on the restaurant floor.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) decided to treat herself to some grandma time with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez); much to her chagrin, she realizes that the young man’s snobbery and bitterness have increased twofold.
Chase (Josh Swickard) came thisclose to confronting Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) about their affair, but his innate goodness precluded him from doing so. He then briefly considered doing a metaphorical runner, but Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) encouraged him to stay and fight the good fight.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wasn’t in the least bit thrilled to learn that Harmony (Inga Cadranel) was working Spring Ridge – and she was further perturbed by the fact that the former cult devotee was administering to Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom). A confrontation ensued with Alexis reaming her (for many things, including almost getting both her daughters raped by Shiloh), and Harmony swore that she wasn’t becoming enthralled by the serial killer…she was just doing her job. Alexis agreed to reserve judgment.
