General Hospital Recap: Spencer Confronts Nikolas About Hayden

The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 29, 2021, features hypocrisy reigning, a secret threatening to be outed, and the idea of a family reunion filling Elizabeth Webber Baldwin with dread.

Though he’s incredibly ticked off at his dad for falling in love with a woman that he despises (ah, children, you got to love them), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) still has a hard time believing that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) ordered Hayden Barnes’s (Rebecca Budig) shooting.

And yet, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) seems so damned convinced. And Nikolas has done some pretty shady things in the past. And wouldn’t it be just like a Cassadine to castigate someone for stalking when they themselves are guilty of a far more egregious crime?

Speaking of…Nikolas admitted to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that he knew Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was alive, and that he’d provided him with a dungeon of horrors, but he swore he didn’t know that his uncle was allied with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Wonder if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be as easily convinced by that story as Ava was?

GH Recap: Knowledge Is Power

The one thing that you don’t want to do is piss off Glady Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) – and guess what Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just did. So, of course, Gladys slithered her way to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) sickbed with the intention of telling him that Bailey isn’t his biological daughter. Good going, Maximista!

General Hospital Recap: Family Planning

Violet (Jophielle Love) may want to get to know her grandpa Jeff, but Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) has no desire whatsoever to reopen that can of worms. Her pops couldn’t be bothered to come comfort her after her rape, or any of the times she was widowed (presumed and otherwise), or when she gave birth to any one of her many sons, so she’s not reaching out now – not even for oh so adorable Violet.
