General Hospital Recap: Sonny’s Stunned Speechless As Nina’s Arrested

The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 22, 2021, features Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves setting their eyes on the same prize, Michael Corinthos tapping into his dark side, and Spencer Cassadine trading one jail for another.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watos) both want Charlie’s Pub, and they both want it for the same reason – to gift to their dear friend Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) suggested that the two put their heads together to come up with a solution, and Nina floated the idea of her and Sonny going halfsies.

Sonny said pass; Nina understood his reasoning. In the end, Sonny got his way, as per usual. Oh, and Nina swore that she’d never tell Carly Corinthos about the love affair they had in Nixon Falls.

Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was aghast that Michael (Chad Duell) had stooped to manipulating a politico into filing charges of fraud and identity theft against Nina. In Michael’s defense, he technically didn’t lie to his beloved. What he promised was that he wouldn’t fight Nina in family court. But if her arrest keeps her away from Wiley regardless…win/win for everyone – except Nina, of course.

GH Recap: Greece Is The Word

Down in Crete, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had a proposition for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers): give him full immunity from prosecution, and he’d tell them where Peter August (Wes Ramsey) – and by extension, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) – is.

Anna gave serious consideration to the trade; Robert opinioned they should just do the world a favor by offing the villain; and surprise, surprise, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) co-signed the latter plan.

General Hospital Recap: Actions Meet Consequences

Spencer (Nichols Alexander Chavez) spitefully entered a plea of Not Guilty – as if he’d ever in his life be happy for his father if that happiness was due to Ava – but luckily for the brat, there would be no further jail time. Instead, he’s now in the care of step-grandfather Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom); and Kevin’s got news for his charge: You’re getting a job!
