General Hospital Recap: Sonny Tells Carly That He Chooses Her

The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 15, 2021, features Sonny Corinthos and the missus recommitting themselves to one another, Spencer Cassadine refusing to take the high road (like many of his forbearers), and Peter August being knocked down a peg or two.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was still a little huffy over his wife and best friend coming thisclose to getting together (again) in the biblical sense. Luckily, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was able to calm him down with her insistence that he was the only man for her. Sonny returned the sentiment (without confessing his having said those three words to Nina) and all was well.

GH Recap: Pride Goethe Before A Fall

Meanwhile, pompous Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) declared that he’d rather die – or, at the very least, spend quite a few years in prison – than give Ava Jerome Cassadine assurance that he wouldn’t cause her or his father any more problems.

That was enough to get Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) on the same page; Spencer must stay put; no rescue for him. A visiting Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was suitably impressed by the couple’s decision; Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was considerably put out.

General Hospital Recap: Killer Instincts

Much to Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) shock – or was it chagrin? – Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) didn’t appreciate getting screwed over as much as Peter thought he would; so, it’s off to the dungeon for Faison’s spawn.

Opposite this, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) put their heads together, added up one plus one, and came up with Drew’s still programable.

Also, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) put Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) fears to rest by promising to help her find her mother. Here’s hoping they make contact with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her ragtag team sooner rather than later.
