General Hospital Recap: Shiloh Is Seriously Out Of His Mind

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 31 features a less-than-cordial dinner engagement, seeds of doubt being sewn, the return of a deadly foe, and a mad scientist on the loose.

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) prepared Wyndemere for Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) arrival and the slippery Cassadine proposed they spike Jax’s drink with some truth serum. Nina objected to the idea — she wasn’t sure she could return and work for a man that she and her husband drugged.

She was unable to wrestle the drug away from her husband and their conversation was interrupted by Finn’s (Michael Easton) arrival. He thought they should know that Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) has been spotted by the WSB.

While Nina wondered where Cassandra could be the erstwhile drug lord was busy cozying up to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael (Chad Duell) down in Puerto Rico. Michael was sure he recognizes “Sandy” so a cautious Cassandra readied a handgun she had concealed in her purse.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) called Drew (Billy Miller) up to his office and revealed that he has been robbed. He wondered if anything of value was taken. Oh, nothing much Drew replied. Just the flash drive that contained all his old memories, including memories of Shiloh.

Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) took the drive and rendezvoused with Dr. Cabot who somehow managed to get his freedom from the WSB. (Remember him when all the blindness started earlier this year, resulting in Curtis stealing Ryan Chamberlain’s kidney.)

Shiloh and Cabot, having apparently studied at the Doctor Ivan Kipling school of medicine, formulated a plan to transfer the memories on the flash drive (!) into Jason’s brain. (Yes, you read that right.)

Back at Wyndemere, the ferry to the mainland was docked due to a severe thunderstorm so Finn had to crash the Cassadine/Jasper/Barnes dinner party. His arrival stymied Valentin’s plan to drug Jax’s martini with the truth serum and he was unsure if the spiked cocktail was consumed by Jax, Hayden or Nina! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
