The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 6, 2021, features Sam trying and failing to play rescuer, Cameron realizing the error of his ways, and Carly FINALLY getting put in her place…for now anyway.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) insisted to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that she could be trusted to help him ferret out Jason (Steve Burton), and she even offered up Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) as proof of her intent to cooperate.
However, at the first available opportunity, she took the info The Jackal offered up and took off to save her man. Dante was, of course, wise to Sam’s ways, so he tailed her and wound up finding the safehouse Jason and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had been holding up in.
But, by the time Dante kicked the door in, his suspect and the suspect’s possible hostage were on the road out of Port Charles, their destination unknown. Good thing Jason knew that Spinelli would spill and that he somehow had access to a getaway car.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is innocent of having shot Jason. Rejoice! Rejoice! And yet, trouble still abounds. Cameron wasn’t particularly thrilled to learn, via eavesdropping, that it was Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and not Jason, who shot and killed Franco (Roger Howarth). As a result, he flees into the night and makes a beeline for Josslyn (Eden McCoy). After all, he’s got some serious crow to eat.
Carly (Laura Wright) isn’t too pleased with how Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Josslyn conducted themselves…which is rich considering she came from a meeting, with underworld types, in which she assumed a leadership role.
She screeched, bandied about the odds, and told Jax to like it or lump it – and he did neither. In point of fact, he stood his ground and insisted that as long as Carly was intent on dressing up and playing Godmother, perhaps Josslyn had better live with him.
Carly, not used to having a man (especially one that she’s slept with) disagree with and call her out on her bull, relented. But only for the night, she sneered.
Despite the passage of time, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) still make a handsome couple. And that doesn’t sit well with Trina (Sydney Mikayla). She’s totally #TeamJordits. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
