The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, October 5, 2021, features (surprise, surprise) Peter August double-crossing his partner-in-crime, who scrambles to convince the (supposedly) scariest Cassadine of all time to join his cause.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Peter (Wes Ramsey) can’t be trusted. But, like so many a Port Charlesite before him, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) failed to realize that fact until it was too late. Now, Victor’s hoping that his nephew, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will just ignore the fact that he’s been drugged, and kidnapped, and agree to help him out of the jam.
And here’s hoping that Valentin doesn’t take too long to decide; Peter’s figured out the key to controlling Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) Manchurian Candidate style.
In the meantime, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) learn that Drew’s plane crash was a big ole fake, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) learned that Drew is alive, though not so well, thanks to Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman).
GH Recap: Passing the Time
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is alone and lonely, and in need of a pick-me-up, and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is happy to oblige. The would-be couple gets all flirty while discussing the double murder of Naomi Dreyfus and Roger Barstow, and the connection to the Crichton-Clark Clinic.
Portia proves her mettle as a sleuth by pointing out that if anybody survived that institute’s destruction, they’re probably running around, and still causing trouble; Curtis is suitably impressed.
Afterward, Curtis and Portia decide to paint the town red – and no one questions why a nightclub owner is closing up shop hours earlier than every other nightclub in Port Charles. It just seems like bad business.
