The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 23, 2021, features a supposedly dead villain resurfacing, a selfish sister-in-law, and a threat that the Quartermaine family may have to share their wealth.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was not at all pleased to see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at The Tan-o. But how to best get rid of her? Why, by pretending to be interested in her problem, doling out some surprisingly good advice, and practically shoving her out the establishment’s front door. #CrisisAverted….except lurking just outside, and spying on Maxie’s every move is one Peter August (Wes Ramsey), unfrozen and walking amongst the living once again!
GH Recap: Now You See Me…
In a bid to continue proving what a big, bad man he is, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has issued a hit on his baby brother and elder sister – and all while under FBI scrutiny. So, with that knowledge in mind, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) are off for parts unknown.
General Hospital Recap: A House Divided
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had a question for Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth): What will it take for you to go away? The easy answer? Not a damn thing; which isn’t exactly what Ned wanted to hear.
And Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sure didn’t want to hear Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) admit that he’s going to hand Austin evidence that Edward intended to reinstate Jimmy Lee Holt into his will – but that’s the copper’s plan of action.
Firstly, it is the right thing to do. Bonus: Chase will be exacting some revenge on Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) – who’s busy agreeing with Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) that they must tell Chase the truth about their love affair.
