The General Hospital recap for Monday, April 5, 2021, features Brook Lynn (hopefully) getting the last laugh, Valentin playing it cool, Laura losing hers, and Nikolas and Ava put on notice.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) got into a heated exchange over sushi and had to be calmed by the soothing presence that is Ned (Wally Kurth). Not! Papa Quartermaine only served to make matters worse, especially when he let slip that Brook Lynn was using her baby as a bargaining chip to get ELQ back.
The major issue with that plan? There is no baby! Brook Lynn’s got herself a big fake bump and some big ideas, but it’s only a matter of time before it all comes crashing down.
A Real Hack
Carly (Laura Wright) warned Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that he’d better step up his game where nailing Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) was concerned – and no, she didn’t mean in the biblical sense!
To that end, Valentin treated Miss Corbin to a few drinks and a spot of flattery, and then, at the first available opportunity, he swiped her phone and did some recon. He found a number connected to a burner phone…what do you wanna bet it belongs to Cyrus (Jeff Kober)?
Kiss On Their List
While Brando (Johnny Wactor) poured his heart, and his secrets, out to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), Michael (Chad Duell) busied himself with playing spoiler to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard).
Later, the recently parted man and wife came this close to sharing a kiss…only to be rudely interrupted by Sasha, who’d come by for a chat with Michael. See, it’s not fun when the shoe’s on the other foot.
Deal Her Out
Cyrus, apparently far from content with having crashed Laura (Genie Francis) and Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) lunch date the previous afternoon, interrupted his sister’s morning with a proposal. Get Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to bring his mother back, and he’ll think about being a good boy.
Laura had an alternate suggestion – kick rocks, bro! Cyrus intimated that she’d rue the day; Laura thought otherwise. Then Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) arrived and bore the brunt of Cyrus’s anger.
Bits and Pieces
After taking time out of her busy schedule to talk with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), Ava was confronted by yet another macabre gift carried in by the good doctor. This time it was a mannequin hand…very reminiscent of the one sported by a certain obsessive pediatrician. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
