General Hospital Recap: Nina Figures It All Out

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 5, 2019, features Nina proving her metal, a close call for Nikolas, Julian continuing to mourn his actions, and Nelle getting a roommate.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Nina (Cynthia Watros) was able to steamroll her way into Ava’s (Maura West) room at Shadybrook and finds her rival in a sorry state. Nina attempted to reach out only to find Ava unreceptive because she fears the “ghosts” that have come calling.

Nina insisted that she was real and asked Ava who had visited her and was told it was Nikolas. While trying to calm the waters, Nina discovered the ring that Nikolas lost and immediately realized that Laura’s (Genie Francis) son was alive and well and gaslighting Ava.

Late Night Inventory With Nikolas

Since he sees no difference between an attorney and a thief, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was able to convince Tad…we mean Martin (Michael E. Knight), to accompany him to Ava’s gallery for a little late-night B&E.

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) interrupted their scheming — clad in a ski mask and fresh off telling Jax (Ingo Rademacher) he is the one responsible for Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) flight.

Valentin got the drop on Nikolas and held him at gunpoint. However, some good old-fashioned fisticuffs freed Nik from his plight and he was able to escape the gallery. “Who was that masked man?” Martin wondered. Valentin didn’t have an answer but he couldn’t shake the thought that he knew him.

Concern

Julian (William deVry) continued to mope about the hospital, upset that his actions resulted in Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) coma. In fact, he was so blue that Sonny (Maurice Benard) offered to let him come over to his abode and see Wiley.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was also at the Corinthos house and told Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) that she’s not pregnant. When Sasha wondered if she should say congratulations or offer condolences, Willow said it was the preferred outcome.

Roommates

Sam (Kelly Monaco) was moved into Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) cell and both were shocked to hear what happened to Lucas and Brad. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
