The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 4, 2019, features Nikolas channeling his inner wraith, Lucas’ family arriving at the hospital, and Julian suffering the “I mighta killed my son Blues.”

General Hospital Recap Highlight

At Shadybrook, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) bribed a cash-strapped nurse to dope Ava (Maura West) up with some special medication. Once it took effect he snuck into the room and revealed himself.

While a panicked Ava tried to convince herself that she was hallucinating, Nikolas insisted that he had come from hell to tell her about his suffering. To further strike a nerve, he told her that Kiki’s tormented soul was down below with him — unable to move on because she had been murdered.

Nikolas informed Ava that the only way that he and Kiki can rest is if she gives up the location of Helena’s portrait. Hoping to free her daughter, Ava said that the painting was still occupying space at her gallery. Nikolas took off to locate it, unaware that his signet ring has slipped off his finger and now lies underneath Ava’s bed.

Hospital Vigil

Carly (Laura Wright) was summoned to GH by Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), who explained about Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad’s (Parry Shen) car accident. Meanwhile, Julian (William deVry) was angry that his plan to kill his son-in-law resulted in Lucas’ injuries.

The family learned that Lucas has come through surgery and his condition is listed as critical yet stable. Brad awakened after remembering that he blurted out the truth about Wiley’s paternity and had to tell Chase (Josh Swickard) about the accident.

Location, Location, Location

Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) worried about Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and her decision to leave town. The doctor called Jax (Ingo Rademacher) over to see if he could shed some light on the subject but Jax covered quite nicely.

However, he lost his cool upon seeing Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) whom he slammed up against a wall and demanded answers from. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
