The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 20, 2019, features bad news all around for the likes of Franco, Brad, and Julian while Anna dusts off her inspector’s hat and goes digging for dirt.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
To quote Nurse Driscoll (Risa Dorken), “Christmas came early this year.” Not only was Franco (Roger Howarth) finally back to being Franco but he was able to leave the hospital and return to the home that he shares with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).
In no time flat, the spouses settled in, shared some chocolate ganache and got down to the nitty-gritty of what transpired during the many months Franco was “away.” First, he was confronted with the fact that Drew (Billy Miller) is missing and presumed dead. Then, Franco is hit with the bombshell that he slept with Kim (Tamara Braun) while. The revelation, to say the least, did not go down well.
Naughty Nelle Back In Action
At GH, Julian (William deVry) and Brad (Parry Shen) received an update on Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) condition. Although the young man is breathing on his own he has slipped into a coma and the doctor believes there is nothing more they can do for him.
To that end, the hospital wanted to transfer Lucas to Turning Wood, which has a long term care wing and they want to do it stat. The news devastated Brad. Later, when gossipy Amy revealed that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had been admitted, Brad made a beeline for her room and threatened that he was ready to tell everyone about Wiley’s true parentage!
Soon, Nelle was roaming about the halls in a wheelchair when she spotted Willow holding Wiley and Nelle was just thrilled.
Trust Your Gut
Finn (Michael Easton) caught Anna (Finola Hughes) pouring over evidence related to the hospital shooting and the death of Bryce Henderson. When he questioned her, Anna admitted she was looking for a connection between the men and Peter (Wes Ramsey).
Finn’s advice was to trust her instincts and let them decide if Peter is a trustworthy individual. Deciding her fiancée was right, Anna planned to ditch her research. But one final perusal led her to start connecting dots and they definitely pointed to Peter being awfully shady. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
