General Hospital Recap: Neil Is Really, Most Sincerely Dead

The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, September 1, 2020, features yet another one of Alexis’s lovers meeting a premature end, trouble brewing for the Quartermaines, and so much more.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

After not being able to rouse Neil (Joe Flanigan), a frantic Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) summoned Sam (Kelly Monaco) to her side. Later, they called an ambulance and Neil’s body was removed from the premises.

Alexis buckled under prying questions from Valerie and when left alone with Sam, she dissolved into a puddle of tears. A search through Neil’s discarded wallet revealed that he had held on to the AIDA ticket – a memento of the first night he and Alexis spent together.

A Woman on the Verge

Carly’s (Laura Wright) attempts at sleep were hampered by vivid nightmares of a returned Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and she began to fear that her rival would haunt her for the remainder of her days. Luckily, she had Jax (Ingo Rademacher) in her corner and he reassured her that Nelle’s reign of terror was over.

Making Memories

Off a successful visit with Mike (Max Gail), Sonny (Maurice Benard) decided to take his father on a day trip to the race track. He got Mike groomed and dressed, Carly came by, and the trio excitedly set about making plans for their excursion.

Family Dynamics

Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) did their best to convince Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) to return to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) and continue her recuperation there but she stubbornly refused. In fact, she insisted that since Ned disowned her prior to her injury, she no longer feels a part of the family.

Following the confrontation, Ned was further stymied by Olivia going through with her plans to visit Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Doesn’t she know that he needs her right there, right then, with him?

Nina Gets A Clue

Jax’s jewelry contact provided Nina (Cynthia Watros) with a concrete lead concerning her specially designed necklace. Turns out the clasp was decorated with a one of a kind signature, and the man is a local New York City jeweler.
