The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 2, 2021, features an ungrateful Maxie Jones reading Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase the riot act, a hospital-set caper, and Sam McCall attempting to give her mother’s life purpose.
Sure, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are laying their livelihoods, and their own personal safety on the line for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and her baby girl, but they failed to do so the proper way, and Maxie had no problem letting her friends know how much they disappointed her
Opposite this, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) continued to gripe about Brook Lynn’s betrayal, as if he hasn’t attempted to murder, kidnap, or usurp the vast majority of Port Charlesites. Rather than tell Valentin to man up, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) just allowed him to stay all up in his feelings – proving that she learned nothing from her mishandling of the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) situation.
Thanks to Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) ingenuity, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) managed to sneak up to the NICU and have a peep at their little one…whom they finally named. Ladies and gentlemen, say goodbye to Baby Boy Corbin, and hello to Liam Michael Corbin.
Boy, do Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have some catching up to do. Alexis first; Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is alive and well, and Valentin’s father. Also, the Davis menagerie had a much more eventful Thanksgiving than the Quartermaines. Alexis asked around.
Hoping to one-up Alexis, Sam revealed that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is alive and well. She also let her know that Jason was anything but. Afterward, Sam suggested that her mom join her in her private detective business. What better line of work for a nosy busybody like Alexis?
