The General Hospital recap for Friday, August 7, 2020, features Jason’s loved ones gathering, Cyrus making his intentions clear, Robert itching for a fight, and Maxie submitting to an important test.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Curtis (Donnell Turner) happened upon a bruised and battered Jason (Steve Burton) and summoned paramedics. Jason was rushed to GH and the calls to his loved ones began.
Sam (Lindsay Hartley) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) condemnation of Peter (Wes Ramsey) was interrupted as was Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) talk about Mike (Max Gail). They all gathered at the hospital and were on hand to hear Finn’s (Michael Easton) diagnosis.
Though his bones are strong, and he has no indication of internal bleeding or breathing problems, there is every indication that Jason has suffered a traumatic brain injury. Therefore, emergency exploratory surgery is recommended. Carly immediately signed the necessary papers and warned Finn to save her friend.
Jason’s accident also broke up Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) pow-wow, but not before his plan became clear. He wants General Hospital. And he expects Jordan to go about singing his praises to anyone who will listen. The opinion of a police commissioner apparently goes a long way in this town.
After Jordan made her quick exit, Cyrus was joined by one of his lackey’s and they toasted Jason and Sonny’s inevitable demises.
Robert Is Down And Out And In Need Of Answers
Upon reading an obituary penned by Peter extolling Holly’s (Emma Samms), “colorful past” and her “ability to get in and out of dodgy schemes,” Robert (Tristan Rogers) tracked down his rival ready for a rumble.
Instead, he spent his time conversing with Anna (Finola Hughes), who insisted that what her ex truly needed was to get some closure where Holly and her death was concerned. But Robert had far too many questions that still needed answers, like what was Holly doing on a WSB ship? Why did it sink? And what happened to Holly’s body?
Timing Is Everything
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) arrived at GH in need of a medically-sound pregnancy test. The three drug store brand ones just weren’t cutting it. She nearly flaked on the test until Lulu (Emme Rylan) stepped in. Then, she bemoaned the timing of her condition. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
