The following episode was repeated on December 31, 2021: The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, February 24, 2021, features Liesl getting the goods on Peter, Anna realizing her nephew is beyond redemption, Alexis attempting to make amends, and Carly throwing her weight around.
Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) first sweep of Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) apartment yielded no leads. However, just before she decided to throw in the towel and hit the road, Liesl came across the manila envelope sent from Dimitri Marick.
Upon investigating its contents, Liesl found the flash drive and a letter from Alex (Finola Hughes) to Peter claiming that she had enclosed the truth in her own words. Liesl gleefully sat down at Peter’s laptop and played the video downloaded onto the drive.
Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) did her best to keep an anxious Maxie (Kirsten Storms) at the nightclub and away from her and Peter’s home. The conversation naturally turned to Peter and his personal growth…or lack thereof.
Maxie launched into an impassioned defense of her future husband – but Britt wasn’t buying what Maxie was attempting to sell.
Anna (Finola Hughes) invited Peter over to her abode and gave him chance after chance to come clean about his crimes. Instead, he insisted to her that any and all evidence suggesting his guilt should be destroyed. Afterward, Anna tearfully phoned Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), admitted to her failings, and agreed with him that they must put a stop to Peter before it’s too late.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) surprised Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and a visiting Robert (Tristan Rogers) with her presence, as well as her plea to be heard. Olivia allowed her to stay, and offered her five minutes to explain her violent actions.
Alexis copped to being drunk at the time of her attack on Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and she also admitted to being back on the wagon. But Olivia still wasn’t convinced of Alexis’s sincerity…or her commitment to staying sober.
Carly (Laura Wright) was fit to be tied when she caught Nina (Cynthia Watros) bonding with Wiley over his love of polar bears (thank the soap gods it wasn’t penguins!).
After dismissing Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell), who dutifully returned Wiley to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson), Carly warned Nina that she may have very well just spent her last moment with Wiley!
In fact, Carly insisted that if Nina didn’t shape up, she’d be shipped right out of the little boy’s life. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
