General Hospital Recap: Kim Struggled Not To Go Over the Edge

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 4 features a wrench being thrown in Julian’s plan, a major blow-up between Cameron and Dranco, and more inept policing from the PCPD.

Julian (William deVry) was not happy to learn that the sale of Charlie’s had stalled by at least a week. Olivia is currently weighing her options of having ELQ purchase the property and then sell it back to her rather than buy from Julian outright.

However, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) wasn’t too put out because it’s another week that Julian is in close proximity to his family – although he isn’t unhappy about that trust fund Julian established for Wiley.

Jason (Steve Burton) stopped by Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Budig) to deliver a back to school present for Jake. They talked about the Franco situation but Elizabeth knew that Jason really didn’t care whether her husband’s memories are restored or not.

Cameron (William Lipton) witnessed Kim (Tamara Braun) and Dranco’s (Roger Howarth) kiss but Trina (Sydney Mikayla) kept him from immediately confronting the pair. Instead, they eavesdropped as Kim told Dranco that what they were doing was wrong.

She told him that she was in love with Julian — which Dranco doesn’t believe — and that he is NOT Drew Cain but instead Elizabeth Webber’s husband — a situation that Dranco could care less about.

Once Kim was gone Cameron confronted Dranco and read him the riot act for abandoning his wife and children. Furthermore, Cameron said he was glad that Oscar was dead — at least he doesn’t have to see what kind of selfish man his father was prior to having his memory erased.

Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) called Elizabeth to tell her that Andre was in the hospital but Nurse Webber hung up the phone before she learned about the doctor’s condition. Jason arrived at the hospital in Elizabeth’s place and learned from Mac (John J. York) and Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) that Andre had been stabbed.

Proving that even the senior ranking officers at the PCPD are just as inept as their underlings, the Chief of Detectives and the Police Commissioner left Andre alone, without a guard posted at the door — despite knowing someone has made an attempt on his life — leaving Peter the perfect opportunity to enter the injured man’s hospital room. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
