General Hospital Recap: Joss Tells Off Nina And Makes Her Cry

The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 8, 2021, features a whole lot of radical honesty, a seriously fed-up papa, and a schemer scheming.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) knows three things to be true: Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is a snake in the grass, exposing her and Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) crimes were the right thing to do, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the scum of the earth. The latter truth, Josslyn explained to Nina’s face, lest she goes about her day uniformed. Nina was suitably chastised; we know this by the single tear that streaked down her cheek.

GH Recap: Sisters Before Misters

Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) feels bad that she didn’t clue Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) in on Spencer’s role-playing of Victor. She apologized and was swiftly forgiven.

Conversely, Spencer received no pardon from Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). In point of fact, the disgruntled elder cut off Spencer’s credit cards and access to his bank account. That’ll teach him to be bad, and won’t at all cause further dissension in the ranks.

Luckily – or not – for Spencer, he’s got Esme on his side…and she’s willing to do anything, lie to anyone, and play on their sympathies to get what she wants — Cameron Webber (William Lipton), watch your back!

General Hospital Recap: Greetings Stranger

Since she has nothing better to do – like keep a husband company, or serve behind a bar – Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) took a merry jaunt over to Port Charles. First order of business, properly introduce herself to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) – he who was once Mike. Second, give Nina a stern, but love-filled talking-to.

Phyllis knows she did bad, but she also knows it wasn’t out of any real malice. Plus, Phyllis has never met a charity case that she could turn her back on. How about Sonny? Can he fully turn his back on Nina, given all they went through together?
