The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 29, 2021, features Carly Corinthos reigning down hell on Nina Reeves – and Nina getting as good as she gets. Also, Trina Robinson sets in motion operation Reunite Mr. and Mrs. Cassadine.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Carly (Laura Wright) wanted a mere two things from Nina (Cynthia Watros): a good explanation for her recent Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) centric actions, and an argument for why she deserves to live.
As is her wont, Nina brought up Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), and the role Carly played in her death – and she also made one very good point: had Carly kept her mouth shut for once in her life, instead of going on the offensive, Nina would have told her months ago that Sonny was alive. If anything, this is really all Carly’s fault.
Having never been one to take responsibility for…well, anything, including the dead son that Nina deigned to mention, Carly made a move to tear her rival limb from limb! Thank goodness for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) arrival and intervention at just the right moment.
GH Recap: Best Laid Plans
In spite of how much he despises Nikolas Cassadine (temporary recast Adam Huss), and he despises the man a whole lot, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) had to admit that he’s not in favor of Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) decision to divorce…but what’s the embattled couple to do? Never fear – that’s what!
Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) got them covered; and all she needed was the help of her besties, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton). And poor fool Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she who’s attempting to manipulate the great and powerful Sonny into helping her and Spencer’s anti-Ava cause.
