General Hospital Recap: Jason And Sam Maybe Did Something

The General Hospital recap for Friday, September 28 features Jason and Sam talking a lot, looking like they might do more than talk, but yeah, nope.

Jason (Steve Burton) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) all about his meeting with Oscar (Garren Stitt) on the docks and that he realized Oscar’s plight is why she told him to be nice to Drew. He also realized why she said to be more present for his family.

As Jason (Steve Burton) prepared to leave, he casually suggested they take the kids to see Monica (Leslie Charleson) next week and be more like a family. Sam was in shock that A-he wanted to do something together and B-he wanted to go to the Quartermaines.

She then said she wondered why they keep forgetting about how important people in their lives are and then said she doesn’t take him for granted.

Then, we all wondered — will they kiss? Attack one another and rush up the stairs? Would Sam then somehow trip and he has to catch her? Something? Anything? No, nothing. Ho-hum…

The Floating Rib was a happening place as Ryan (Jon Lindstrom), Lucy (Lynn Herring), Mac (John J. York), and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) all had a meal for old time’s sake. Of course, they all thought Ryan was Kevin.

Over at the bar, Franco (Roger Howarth) and Ava (Maura West) discussed Ava’s encounter at Kiki’s last week and Ryan somehow mistook her for Felicia.

Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Felicia also met to do a Ryan Chamberlain interview and Felicia wants everyone to know she wasn’t a victim, but the survivor and winner. You may think that Felicia, but little changes in 25 years.

Anyway, Ryan had a VERY busy day. While at the hospital, Peter (Wes Ramsey) found him and begged for meds, but the responsible sociopath insisted he make an appointment first.

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was also alarmed when she learned Lulu told Peter to stay away from her and we thought Maxie was going to hide that secret recipe where Lulu can never find it and never speak to her again.

Port Charles will see you Monday and just maybe its heart and soul will return after a nine-month absence.
