The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 30, 2021, features Liesl Obrecht and Scott Baldwin’s best-laid plans going to pot, Peter August making waves, and “Mike” unleashing his inner beast.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Nothing, not even a palm to the forehead – which came courtesy of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) – could deter Scott (Kin Shriner) from continuing with his plan to hop on a private jet with Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Likewise, nothing was going to stop Liesl from hopping on that plane…or disrupt her plan to rid the earth of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) once and for all. Well, nothing except the plane suddenly taking a nose dive!
GH Recap: Mob Wars
Back in Port Charles, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) learned, much to his consternation, that being in police custody hasn’t precluded Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) from reaching out to a person unknown and getting his dirty work handled. But who could the villain have possibly turned to?
Might it be either Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) or his uncle? And speaking of the elder Novak…he made Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) acquaintance at the Metro Court, and seemed rather taken in by the fellow Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) despiser.

Having prevented an enraged “Mike” (Maurice Benard) from caving in Peter’s head with a baseball bat – why, we ask – Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) initiated phase one of Operation Kill Peter…which comprised of her telling him to head for St. Lucia. There were of course threats issued, on Peter’s end, because he just can’t help himself.
GH Recap: Is The Truth Really Out There?
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) filled Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) in on recent developments, i.e. Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) possible survival; Shawn encouraged her to focus fully on investigating that possibility.
Afterward, Sam, rendezvoused with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and the trio poured over the WSB investigation into Drew’s downed airplane; they find a connection to Nina.
