The General Hospital recap for Thursday, August 15 features a shock for Kim, a villain sent on a wild goose chase and a spot of attempted malpractice.
Kim (Tamara Braun) was furious that Franco (Roger Howarth) kissed her and when Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Drew (Billy Miller) rounded the corner she demanded an explanation. After Franco tore out of the hospital, Drew and Elizabeth explained the memory transfer.
At Charlie’s, Brad (Parry Shen) selfishly opposed Julian’s (William deVry) planned move to Manhattan because who will he have to vent to over the Wiley paternity pickle? Julian thinks that maybe putting some distance between them will be a good thing since no one else knows about the switch. Well, no one except Liesl (Kathleen Gati) but Brad kept that info to himself.
Back at GH, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) ran into Finn (Michael Easton) and questioned him about Cassandra Pierce’s status. Robert (Tristan Rogers) overheard the conversation and lied that he had spoken to Anna and that his ex had tailed Cassandra to Newfoundland.
After Valentin made his exit, Robert revealed to Finn that he hadn’t spoken with Anna and he dreaded making the phone call. When pressed by Finn, Robert told him that Cabot wanted to leverage a deal — in exchange for the charges being dropped he will tell exactly what memories, implanted into Anna, belong to Alex.
Over on Spoon Island, Liesl caught Hayden (Rebecca Budig) prowling around in Helena’s trophy room and demanded an explanation. Hayden pulled out the tried and true “I think I lost my earring in here” bit but Liesl didn’t buy it.
When Jax (Ingo Rademacher) got word that Liesl was heading to Wyndemere he sent an emergency text to Hayden, which Liesl saw. The doc was disheartened that Jax had gotten himself mixed up with the likes of Hayden.
When she threatened to alert the police Hayden offered a trade — Liesl will keep quiet about Hayden’s little B&E and Hayden will get Jax to take Liesl out to dinner.
Brad skulked over to GH with the intention of fudging Shiloh’s hospital records to match up with Michael’s but Lucas (Ryan Carnes) interrupted him. As a result, Lucas saw that Shiloh does not have the genetic heart condition that Wiley was born with.
Franco showed up at the Floating Rib and reacted violently when Maxie (Kirsten Storms) referred to him by name rather than Andrew. Maxie was shocked at the outburst but Peter (Wes Ramsey) was able to put two and two together and realize that Franco had submitted to the memory transferring process.
He explained this to Maxie and told her that he felt like he was at least partially to blame. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
