The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, August 24 features Carly once again thinking Jason will put aside everything for her–and learning once again those days are gone.
What About ME?
You’d think Carly (Laura Wright) would have been furious at Sam (Kelly Monaco) for shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard), but instead she was furious at Jason for what she considered a betrayal of their friendship. Why would he lie to her to protect his wife and family? Unheard of. (To Carly.)
Jason (Billy Miller) once again had to explain to Carly his priorities are different now, and Sonny had to later reiterate the same thing.
Moment Of Truth
In court, Julian (William deVry) took the stand in his own defense despite Scott’s protests. When he finished telling his side of the story, Scott (Kin Shriner) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) both felt he did a great job.
But, when the judge asked for everyone to gather in the courtroom within a half hour, all three began getting nervous.
Diamonds Are Forever
Anna (Finola Hughes) was surprised to learn Hayden (Rebecca Budig) vanished after she questioned Finn (Michael Easton) about those diamonds. He really didn’t have an answer for her and decided to visit Raymond Berlin. Of course, Anna wanted to tag along.
Finn also insisted to Lucy (Lynn Herring) that he is not giving up his house, will find Hayden, and build a lovely backyard for their several children. Good luck. We hope you find her too, Finn.
Her Final Answer?
Charlotte’s ballet class and desire to have her family back the way she wants it made Nina (Michelle Stafford) reconsider all her decisions. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) wanted an answer from her as soon as possible, but she seemed to be waiting for the right moment at a planned dinner that may never happen.
