General Hospital Recap (GH): Ava’s Not Used To People Being Nice

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, August 28 features emotional surprises throughout Port Charles.

Forbidden Fantasies
Ava (Maura West) was still having a hard time with Griffin (Matt Cohen) being so nice to her and remained puzzled as to why he’s acting the way he is.

Griffin basically told her to get used to it, which led Ava to have yet another fantasy of an unscarred face and what could happen when a hot priest/doctor seems to like you. And we mean really like you.

This Was A Surprise (Maybe)
We also had to wonder if Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) really likes Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) with the way she planted that kiss on her at The Floating Rib. When she learned Parker (Ashley Jones) was once with Kristina, she figured it would be a good idea to make her jealous.

Of course, Kristina looked over at Parker playing pool right after to make sure she saw the whole scene. Perhaps that wasn’t the best idea.

Julian Joy?
News spread quickly about Julian’s (William deVry) conviction, with Carly (Laura Wright) rejoicing and Sonny seeming a bit bothered by it.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was super bothered by all of it and immediately told Sam (Kelly Monaco) what was going on with her father, and then was not happy at all with Sonny and Carly’s reaction to the news that Julian would spend the next 15-20 behind bars.

Danger Alert (Again)
But, Sonny (Maurice Benard) also had more important things on his mind like the meeting he set up with The Five Families. He’s very serious about giving up the business and explained to Jason (Billy Miller) that he needs him there as back up. What could possibly go wrong?
