The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, September 6 features yet another highly-emotionally charged day in Port Charles.
Calling It Like She Sees It
Griffin (Matt Cohen) can’t handle the fact that becoming a priest and doctor doesn’t make him all powerful and took out his frustrations at the boxing gym. Ava (Maura West) followed him there and tried to comfort him, but all he wanted was to be left alone, prompting Ava to call him a hypocrite.
She then literally took down her mask and shared her own feelings of frustration–how her face reminds her of all her sins and how she just wishes she was beautiful again. Griffin told her she is beautiful, which then prompted her to kiss him.
He responded, but pulled away, explaining he meant she’s beautiful in the eyes of God. Ava, being Ava, let the priestly doctor know she thinks he’s full of it.
Keeping Vigil
Back at the hospital, Sam (Kelly Monaco) sat by Jason’s (Billy Miller) side and begged him to wake up. She siphoned off her children to her sisters, but Danny had no desire to go to a water park with Molly (Haley Pullos) and just wanted his dad. Eventually, Carly convinced Sam to go home, see her kids, and clean herself up.
New Relationships and Old Relationships
Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) had Scout out for the day and ran into both Parker (Ashley Jones)and Valerie.
Parker admitted she’s not seeing anyone, but Valerie still made Parker jealous. Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) also ran into Lulu, they made up, and Lulu (Emme Rylan) gave her an invite to Rocco’s birthday party.
Always In Danger
Sonny (Maurice Benard) spent his time in the hospital chapel where Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told him he wouldn’t be charged with murder (this time). So, Sonny lamented the fact he’ll never get out of the mob. (Ya think?)
