The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 24, 2019, features more witnesses taking the stand at Dranco’s hearing, Hayden accepting some hard truths, and a possible next step for Curtis and Laura.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
While on the stand, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) admitted to withholding Drew’s true identity. However, she pointed out that she kept DREW CAIN’S identity from Drew Cain, proving that the man sitting before them is not the real McCoy.
She also added that what she did was hid a man’s true identity from him. Unlike Kim (Tamara Braun), who is trying to force an identity onto someone because she wants to keep a memory alive.
Monica (Leslie Charleson) was the next to take the stand and refuted Scott’s (Kin Shriner) claim that because the man sitting before them was Franco (Roger Howarth) because he possessed Franco’s DNA. She countered that “DNA doesn’t define a person…I know that DNA makes us human beings. Neurology makes us who we are.”
Martin (Michael E. Knight) called Jason (Steve Burton) to the stand and he admitted that he asked a question of Dranco that only Drew Cain might have known. Scotty, in turn, challenged him to admit that he doesn’t care one way or the other whether the man is Drew or Franco because he simply hates Franco.
Later, Cameron (William Lipton) confronted Jason about what he had testified to and wondered how a man who went through a similar situation (ie personality change via trauma) could be so callous.
Scott also called Kim and asked her if she was placed in a situation where Cameron’s memories had been placed in Oscar’s body would she have fought to get her son back or simply let sleeping dogs lie like she is asking of Elizabeth. When Kim didn’t answer, Scotty brought up her attempted rape of the real Drew.
