The General Hospital recap for October 28-November 1, 2019 features the return of a long lost and much-lamented Port Chuckian — and a major medical emergency.

General Hospital Recap: Weekly Highlights

Why is it that characters on soap operas continually dismiss the possibility that a presumed dead loved one can suddenly be alive, well, and intermingling amongst the living?

Take for instance Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who buried both her mother and youngest son only to turn around and find them standing before her in the flesh – heck, Laura herself was assumed to have been killed by David Grey before making like Lazarus and surprising the heck out of everybody mourning her passing.

And yet, she refused to believe Ava’s (Maura West) insistence that a disguised Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) had followed her back to the art gallery and revealed himself to her — a turn of events that lead the normally-composed Ms. Jerome to swoon into her former bestie’s arms.

But disbelieve Ava is exactly what Laura did. That, and she convinced the still-grieving mother to check herself into Shadybrook — a pointlessly needed exercise considering Nikolas (still sauntering) was in Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) living room awaiting an update on the infamous codicil.

Revenge

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finally began to feel the effects of Kendra’s (Michelle Argyris) poisoned dietary complement. Initially, her symptoms mimicked the flu but after Molly (Haley Pullos) rushed her to GH, painful rashes …continue reading on the next page —>
