The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 28 features a decision in the contentious Franco vs. Elizabeth hearing, an act of violence from Scotty, Julian scheming, and Kendra’s revenge plot in motion.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Setting aside the issue of identity, the judge presiding over Franco’s (Roger Howarth) competency hearing instead looked to the case’s most salient question: Does the man sitting before her possess the mental compacity to make his own decisions?

Having reviewed Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) expert testimony, and agreeing with his findings, the judge ruled in Franco’s favor. He was released on his own recognizance and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) power of attorney voided.

In response to the verdict, Scotty (Kin Shriner) punched Kevin in the mouth and taunted him about being just as, “skilled” at destroying families as Ryan. On the recent turn of events, Franco informed everyone in the courtroom that “This is the way things are now. You all just need to accept it.”

Trina (Sydney Mikayla) took a distraught Cameron (William Lipton) to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) gym to take his frustrations out on a punching bag and the boy’s emotional breakdown deeply affected Sonny.

Later, Scotty arrived wanting to collect on the multitude on favors Sonny owed him — you know, like getting his teenage daughter Karen hooked on drugs then letting her strip in his club to pay for her new habit.

Interference

Julian (William deVry) was doubly upset to find out that not only had Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) left Wiley in Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) care but that the couple was at Dr. Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) for couple’s counseling.

When they arrived at Charlie’s to pick their son up, Julian manipulated Brad into changing his cellphone’s password and then made sure Lucas stumbled upon the switch — a situation that did not sit well with Lucas who is beginning to grow distrustful of Brad.

General Hospital Recap: A Dish Best Served…

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kendra (Michelle Argyris) took in a post-workout meal at Kelly’s and Kendra took the opportunity to hand her victim a tub of the tainted dietary supplement. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
