The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, December 17, 2019, features some disgruntled art lovers, amazing news for Elizabeth and a seriously pissed off Valentin doing what he does best – spitting out venomous threats.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Ava (Maura West) blamed the immolated painting on a quirk belonging to its late great artist — surely he sent an emissary to light it afire because she certainly had nothing to do with it.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was tickled pink at its destruction and let everyone in attendance know it. “The portrait is gone, along with its many secrets.” However, the gleeful look in Ava’s eye left that opinion in question.
Meanwhile, Trina (Sydney Mikayla), with folders bound for the gallery’s safe, stumbled upon Nikolas. The crafty Cassadine kept his back to the girl and ran out before she could call the police.
Later, Nik had a meeting with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) on the pier and was once again warned that he had until January 1st to reveal himself. Afterward, Nik returned to the gallery to confront Ava and was greeted by Ms. Jerome and her trusty side arm!
All About Nikolas
Dustin (Mark Lawson) leaped into the water and recovered an unconscious Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). They summoned an ambulance and while the paramedics attended to the little girl Lulu (Emme Rylan) phoned Valentin.
He and Nina (Cynthia Watros) arrived at the hospital alongside Laura (Genie Francis) and all assembled learned from Rocco (O’Neil Monahan) that Charlotte had jumped to prove she had a bodyguard.
Charlotte requested that her grandmother join her and during the chat, Laura tried to convince her that the bodyguard was just pretend. But Charlotte knew better. “Mommy even has a picture of him on her phone.”
Laura retrieved the device and Charlotte showed her the shot of Nikolas. In the corridors of GH, Valentin warned Lulu that he would be seeking full custody of their daughter.
Miracles Do Happen
The joy Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Cameron (William Lipton) experienced when Franco (Roger Howarth) opened his eyes was compounded by the fact that he had all his original memories — but for good or for bad, he remembers nothing he did while living as Drew.
Anna (Finola Hughes) continued to be suspicious of Peter (Wes Ramsey) and confided her fears to Finn (Michael Easton). Overhearing Peter tell Maxie (Kirsten Storms) that Franco regaining his personal memories was an “answered prayer” did little to put her mind at ease. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
