The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 9, 2019, features a nicely recovered Ava, a frantic Nikolas, and a Dranco whose life is on the line in many ways.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Ava (Maura West) popped back into her gallery as if nothing ever happened and shocked Trina (Sydney Mikayla). She said she checked herself in so she just checked herself out. We also learned Ava has Helena’s portrait behind another painting.
Ava was later shocked when Griffin (Matt Cohen) paid her a visit. He assured her Kiki forgives her and isn’t in hell. When Nina (Cynthia Watros) later showed up with Nikolas’ (Marcus Coloma) ring, Ava realized Nikolas is indeed alive and was gaslighting her. Now that she had a clear head, she entertained Nina’s offer to team up.
Meanwhile, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) kicked Nikolas out, but when Nik went to pack up his things, he freaked out upon realizing his ring is missing. Uh-oh!
Peter’s Bad Deed
At the Metro Court, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) had a heart-to-heart talk and he admitted he’d do anything to keep Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Anna managed to make him see he has a chance to keep her without doing a bad, bad thing.

At the hospital, Dranco (Roger Howarth) prepared for Andre’s (Anthony Montgomery) procedure, which was technically not surgery and seemed as sci-fi-like as the procedure that made Franco into an odd version of Drew to begin with.
He said goodbye to both Cameron (Will Lipton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) as Drew with them praying he wakes as Franco, but they had no idea what would really happen. They also had no idea what Peter was up to.
He told his goon to take out Andre, Franco, or both and that’s exactly what he intended to do. However, Peter changed his mind after his chat with Anna and tried to call his goon off.
Too bad the goon had trashed his burner phone and got ready to do the job just as Andre put Dranco under… General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
