The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, August 25, 2020 features yet another disagreement between husband and wife, an attack victim coming to, and Nelle setting off for parts unknown.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) continued to debate who among Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was the lesser of two evils. Elizabeth was sure it was Nikolas. In her mind, there was no way that he would ever purposefully push Ava into Franco’s orbit while hoping for a romantic spark to ignite.
Franco, on the other hand, refused to believe that his best friend would sabotage his marriage simply so that she could inherit 90% of the Cassadine fortune… even if he did believe that she was entitled to it.
While the couple continued to deliberate, Nikolas placed a call to Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel), assuring him that he had a contingency plan to rid them of Ava… and it clearly involved getting her to cheat on him with Franco. So score one for Franco.
Medical Marvel
Over at the hospital, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) received an update on Brook Lynn’s (Briana Lane) condition. Though she had survived the emergency surgery, further operations were necessary, and her prognosis remained grim.
News of Brook Lynn’s assault began to spread, and Carly (Laura Wright) quickly deduced that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was responsible. Sonny (Maurice Benard) took off for the hospital, where he and Olivia were heartened to see Brook Lynn respond to Ned’s pleas for her to awaken.
The Truth Will Out…Or Will It?
Julian (William deVry) confided his hand in Wiley’s kidnapping to Ava, and he also copped to being able to locate the boy via the tracker Nelle had planted inside his favorite stuffed animal. Ava urged her brother to keep quiet, and he did just that… even after he was dragged down to the police station for further questioning.
Nelle Escapes By The Skin of Her Teeth
A wrong turn off the interstate momentarily waylaid Nelle, but she was directing herself back toward her destination with the help of moonlight jogger. In a further display of luck, the villainess managed to drive away seconds before her rescuer received an Amber Alert displaying Nelle and Wiley’s picture. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
