The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 26, 2020, features a continued look back at the 2014 Nurses Ball. There were some musical performances and a wedding ceremony but all eyes were on the stage.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

The audience was less than thrilled at Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) interruption and refused to give her the standing ovation she so obviously deserved. But Liesl didn’t mind. Instead, she reminded everybody that it was HER money that kept the hospital afloat and that almost everyone enjoying the festivities had her to thank for their livelihood.

And she also took the opportunity to insult Anna (Finola Hughes). Liesl always has time to insult Anna. Afterward, Lucy (Lynn Herring) was able to get the show back on track and Kiki (Kristen Alderson) took to the stage with her cover of a song by Pink.

Next it was time for Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) – make that Eddie Maine – to shine. Tracy (Jane Elliot) was sure Edward (John Ingle) was rolling over in his grave…but she thought his performance was wonderful.

The next person to take the stage was Luke (Tony Geary). Well, actually it was his alternate personality Fluke, but why quibble. He belted out I Am What I Am..much to the consternation of Ned, Michael (Chad Duell), and Kiki, whom the letch had been sexually harassing.

Then came the topper – Luke proposed that he and Tracy marry, right then and there. Ned begged his mother to say no, Tracy said yes, and Lucy declared them man and wife.

Late Arrivals and A Crowd Pleaser

After deciding that attending the ball was preferable to watching the live feed, Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) convinced his father that they should go. While Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) went off to get dressed, Spencer called his great-grandmother. He needed a big favor and Lesley (Denise Alexander) was the only person who could help him.

Brad (Parry Shen) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) likewise decided that they should shut off the TV and head to the party. Upon arrival, Brad wasn’t thrilled to see Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel) getting chummy.

Meanwhile, Levi (Zachary Garred) made Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) day by agreeing that they should go to the gala. They arrived only moments before the start of Magic Milo and his retinue of clothing-adverse dancers! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
