The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, October 22, 2019 features a meeting of the “We Survived Ryan Chamberlain” support group (Port Charles Chapter), Julian offering up some major ammunition, and one heck of a bombshell.
Julian (William deVry) arrived at Ava’s (Mara West) and found her a little worse for wear. He’s extremely concerned for his sister especially since she greeted him at the door — which she has locked, bolted and chained — gun in hand.
Despite her brother’s opinion that her feelings of being watched are being exacerbated by her copious intake of alcohol, Ava insists that she is still in mortal danger from her imprisoned ex.
Meanwhile, after Jason (Steve Burton) requested that she arrange for a face to face between himself and Ryan, Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) discussed Ava. Laura thought her former foe would greatly benefit from therapy. Kevin thinks she’s suffering from PTSD.
Later, Kevin arrived at Ava’s apartment — showing both hands as proof of identity — and asked to commiserate with her since they’re both survivors of Ryan’s machinations. Kevin encouraged Ava to put down her vodka bottle and return to the art world since it brings her so much joy.
While Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) outfitted Franco (Roger Howarth) in a full military uniform — replete with all of the medals earned by the real Drew Cain — Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Scotty (Kin Shriner) were at Kelly’s discussing strategy.
When Julian entered just as the pair were making their exit, Elizabeth warned him that they were calling on Kim (Tamara Braun)as a witness and Scotty promised to come at her hard. Julian, to his credit, agreed that it was the proper way to proceed. Furthermore, he revealed one of Kim’s secrets and told them to use it.
Since Finn (Michael Easton) didn’t like to eat with people who insult him to his face he was very dismissive of a prying and accusatory Robert (Tristan Rogers). The new DA warned Finn not to hurt Anna by two-timing her with Hayden, who the good doctor was waiting for.
But lunch was going to have to wait. Hayden skipped it because she got a phone call from the hospital — her daughter is ill. And when Finn arrived to treat his new patient it, of course, turned out to be the little girl he and Hayden share! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
