The General Hospital recap for October 12-16, 2020, features Dante making the rounds, some good news for Paxie – and bad news for Peter August haters – Brook Lynn getting the shaft, and more.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Lulu (Emme Rylan) wasn’t exactly thrilled to find Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) on her doorstep, nor was he to chuffed to see Dustin (Mark Lawson) emerge from what had once been his bedroom.
The former marrieds argued, did a whole lot of crying, then parted ways. And while Lulu presumably cried into numerous glasses of wine – hey, rosé abuse is her normal coping mechanism – Dante headed over to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson)…but only because he couldn’t get to Peter (Wes Ramsey) in the overly-crowded Floating Rib.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) enthusiastically greeted her son and insisted on a full rundown of his time in treatment and the current state of his mental health. He admitted to having already visited Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Lulu and Olivia politely forgave those trespasses.
Even though he should have come straight home to momma, she realized he had other obligations. But now that he was back, Olivia promised to be there for him…come hell or high water.
GH Musings
Speaking of hell…that’s exactly where Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) currently reside. Metaphorically that is. And all because they have to play nice and give newly-engaged Peter and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) their congratulations.
Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) came…she saw…but she did not conquer. Instead, her plan to pass Amy’s (Risa Dorken) voice off as her own failed spectacularly and resulted not only in her dismissal from Deception, but it also seemed to seal the company’s fate. But is this really the end for Brook Lynn’s career and Lucy’s (Lynn Herring) cosmetics empire?
So, Dev (Ashton Arbab) has stooped so low as to snoop through a lady’s private journal, copy her handwriting, and forge entries? This doesn’t bode well for poor Josslyn (Eden McCoy). And just when it seemed that Dev was the most level headed of the teen quartet.
Olivia knows that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), a recovering alcoholic, has fallen off the wagon. Ned (Wally Kurth) has also been apprised of the situation. And their response is…to do nothing except offer their assistance, leave a few voicemails, and go about their day? Shouldn’t they, at the very least, alert Alexis’s loved ones?
Seems like Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is falling for Sonny and Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) sabotage plan hook, line, and sinker. But you know what they say about appearances. Speaking of Cyrus…which decades-old and heavily redacted case file do you think he requested? And is it a crime that was actually committed on-screen or yet another retroactively created story point?
Anna (Finola Hughes) or Alex (also Finola Hughes)? Alex or Anna? Which one is Peter’s mother? Which one has the gene for rheumatoid arthritis? And, most importantly, who still cares about this storyline? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
