The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 12, 2020, features Lulu and Ava’s world upended, Brando laying the seeds for a double-cross, and Alexis continuing on her downward spiral.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Lulu (Emme Rylan) was stunned by the sight of Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) frame appearing in her open doorway. And since turnabout is fair play, Dante was equally stunned to see a shirtless Dustin (Mark Lawson) emerge from what was once his bedroom.

After fighting the urge to shoot and kill this usurper, Dante politely shook Dustin’s hand and requested a moment alone. While he swallowed some pills, Dustin made his excuses and hightailed it out of the increasingly awkward situation.

Once alone, Dante and Lulu had a reckoning concerning him abandoning her, his instance on a divorce, and the fact that his “forever exit” wound up lasting for only a year and a half.

When Dante questioned whether she would have waited if given a specific timeline, Lulu admitted that she probably would have. Dante in turn admitted he probably wouldn’t have ended the marriage. Together, they decided to move on without one another. Or, at least for the foreseeable future.

A Trap Is Laid

After staging a blow-up between himself and the Corinthos clan, Brando (Johnny Wactor) was sure that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had taken the bait and would soon make contact. Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) hedged their bets, and the former wondered if Brando was ready to gamble with his life.

Trouble Brewing

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) continued to drink and nurse her guilty conscience. Ned (Wally Kurth) continued to be concerned about his ex’s woes and the possibility that his affair would be exposed.

Blood…Is It REALLY Thicker Than Water?

Between insisting that Ava (Maura West) divorce Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and pushing her to use her feminine wiles on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Julian (William deVry) continued to earn his metal as Brother of the Year.

Luckily for Ava, she still had her Not-So-Prince Charming firmly on her side. If only she felt that she could confide in Julian’s Sonny related predicament. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
