The General Hospital recap for Monday, November 30, 2020, features Laura in desperate need of cheering up, a traditional Quartermaine Thanksgiving, and Sam doubting her prowess as a mother./p>
A restless Laura (Genie Francis) received a momentary boast when Tracy (Jane Elliot) called and expressed her concern for both Mayor Collins and Lulu (Emme Rylan). However, Laura’s mood was then significantly darkened when she learned that neither Luke (Anthony Geary) nor Lucky could be reached and informed of Lulu’s predicament.
She was further distraught when a conversation with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) concerning Lulu’s future care ended with an accusation that she was giving up on her daughter.
Across town, at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) abode, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) busied herself with the preparation of Thanksgiving dinner. Dante had but two wishes: for Lulu to wake up happy and healthy and Rocco to have a ‘normal’ Thanksgiving.
So imagine Olivia’s frustration when her plans to push Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) together were scuttled, and she realized she had incinerated the bird!
Off that highly foreseeable blunder, Monica insisted that not only was it time to lean in to tradition, but it was high time the family extended their affection and strength to a loved one in crisis.
So, with that in mind, everyone assembled and the manse decamped for the hospital. Laura and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) were heartened by the outpouring from their ‘extended’ family and they were double thankful for the pizza they bore and the prayer that Monica uttered. And Tracy’s sudden arrival was just the icing on the cake!
Over at Casa Corinthos, Sam (Kelly Monaco) wrestled with her conscience. Should she stay with Jason (Steve Burton) and continue to put herself and her children at risk? Should her love for him supersede her motherly instincts?
Ava (Maura West) continued to struggle with her decision to assist Julian (William de Vry) in his flight from justice – especially in light of her sister-in-law’s predicament. Not to mention the two dead bodies already on Julian’s hands.
After a heart to heart with Nikolas, and upon learning that Franco (Roger Howarth), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and Cameron (William Lipton) had been in The Floating Rib, Ava decided that she and Julian needed to have another, far more serious talk…and she brought her trusty firearm to emphasize her displeasure.
