The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 2, 2021, features Jason Morgan and Stella Henry running at the mouth about matters that shouldn’t concern them, Nina Reeves debating whether she’s a heroine or villainess, and Austin Holt unintentionally setting Harrison Chase up for failure.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Willow Tait Chase’s (Katelyn MacMullen) day just kept getting worse; the newest lowlight – her much-reviled mother, Lorraine Miller AKA Harmony (Inga Cadranel) is back, and apparently ready to make amends….again.
Chase (Josh Swickard) got mad and ordered his mother-in-law to vacate Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) abode – Alan gave it to her, don’t you know – and Willow fled the property in tears…not that her husband noticed.
In the meantime, Jason enthralled Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) with Willow’s tale of woe. (How nice, a man airing a woman’s private business to a relative stranger.)
GH Recap: Hope Floats
In Nixon Falls, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and “Mike” (Maurice Benard) commiserated over Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) cancer diagnosis, and “Mike” relayed the flash of memory he had concerning the death of a loved one. That led Nina to wonder if she was doing the right thing in keeping Sonny from his friends and family…she is not!
General Hospital Recap: Blabber Mouth
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) explained to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in the nicest way possible that she (probably) couldn’t be friends with her (soon to be ex) husband’s new squeeze. However, she is happy for the two of them – a sentiment she reiterates to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson)…not so much. She once again sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong, and winds up shattering Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) world by loudly announcing that Portia and Curtis had been intimate when she was still married to Trina’s pops.
GH Recap: Through A Camera Screen Darkly
At Valentin’s urging, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) arranged a video chat between Wiley and Nina. Nina, rather than wisely taking said call outside The Tan-o, remained seated inside the pub, making it all too easy for Sonny to step into the camera’s range.
General Hospital Recap: One Floor Above
With Austin’s (Roger Howarth) encouragement, Chase decided to surprise Willow with his regained mobility, but it’s Chase who’s in for a surprise – Willow and Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) are there making love!
