The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 21 features cash playing a major role in the lives of Port Charles residents who had to decide whether to accept it, who’s going to deliver it, and how to get away with stealing it.

Drew (Billy Miller) was able to track Cameron (William Lipton) down just as the young man was poised to accept $9,000 in exchange for the car Oscar left him. Drew ran the perspective seller off and was able to find the cache of illegal earnings hidden in the vehicle’s trunk by Tex.

At General Hospital, Kim (Tamara Braun) ran into Dranco (Roger Howarth) who asked her to talk about Oscar. She refused to relive her son’s death especially with a man who only knows her because of an experiment gone awry. Dranco informed Kim that “he” sent her letters for two years after is deployment but she says she never received them.

At Pentonville, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) revealed to Henrik (Wes Ramsey) — oops, make that Peter! — that he saw him all those years go in Afghanistan conspiring with Helena Cassadine to kidnap both Jason and Drew.

And Shiloh is prepared to spill the beans unless Peter ensured him his freedom. We wonder what poor Maxie will think of this latest development. Maybe hooking up with the man responsible for her husband’s death WASN’T a good idea after all. (She may have to learn the hard way.)

Back at GH, Drew showed Dranco the reclaimed loot — $1.5 million in total — and the two argued over who would return it to Afghanistan. At first, Dranco is chomping at the pit to leave town but after another run-in with a distraught Kim he decided to stay — and he even took a loan from  Drew, who went to Afghanistan in his place. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
