The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 9, 2020, features Dante making the rounds, Alexis spiraling, Monica making threats, and Gladys making waves.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) was thrilled to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) though the young man regretted not arriving in time for Mike’s (Max Gail) memorial. Sonny insisted that the only thing that mattered was that Dante was there now.
The men reconnected, got one another up to speed on the important happenings, and then Dante begged off the reception at the Metro Court in order to head home and see his family.
But that’s going to be a bit awkward seeing as his arrival interrupted Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin’s (Mark Lawson) afternoon delights session – the consequence of Dustin agreeing to move in with his lady love!
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrived at the Metro Court, having missed Mike’s memorial service, with a bottle of vodka concealed in her purse. She was able to fend off Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) barrage of questions, but unbeknownst to Alexis, her drinking was witnessed by a concerned Olivia (Lisa LoCicero).
And while Olivia was attempting to offer her assistance to Alexis, Ned (Wally Kurth) was back at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) receiving a tongue lashing. Though he granted Monica her opinion that he and Brook Lynn were going through a rough patch, he refused to stand for her comparison of him to Edward.
But Monica wasn’t quite finished. Not only did she insist that she would be involving herself in his campaign to heal the rift between him and Brook Lynn, but she also warned that if something wasn’t done soon, then Tracy (Jane Eliot) would be homeward bound!
Back at the Metro Court, no one was pleased to see Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs), Brando (Johnny Wactor) in particular. And his dissatisfaction grew exponentially when she attempted to emotionally blackmail Sonny into allowing Brando into his inner circle.
After yet another run-in with Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Trina (Sydney Mikayla) decided that drastic measures were necessary in order to bring the villain down. With that in mind, she recruited Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dev (Aston Arbab) for her cause. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
