The General Hospital recap for Friday, November 19, 2021, features Harrison Chase compounding a lie, Sonny Corinthos greatly disappointing his missus, a medical emergency for Sasha Gilmore, and Peter August at his absolute worst.
Chase (Josh Swickard) hasn’t always been GH’s brightest bulb, but thanks to a little ingenuity – and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) practically connecting the dots for him – he managed to deduce that Bailey and Louise were one and the same.
So, off to the hospital, he flew. After tracking Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) down, and hearing her get quite the earful from an angry and depressed Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Chase surprised Brook Lynn – and possibly himself – by “revealing” that he was Bailey’s father. Cue Valentin’s punch in three, two….
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have decided to agree to disagree where Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is concerned. They’ve also decided to spend Thanksgiving in New York – which is really going to please Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to no end.
And speaking of Carly, Sonny (Maurice Benard) wounded her with the admission no woman wants to hear – he had a friend of the opposite sex; equally soul-crushing, that said friend was Nina. What’s next? Will he tell her that the morning cup of Joe she so loves is really instant?
Meanwhile, at the Legion of Doom headquarters — *ahem* meanwhile, at Cassadine Island, wonder twins (because we wonder how anybody could buy them being twins even with a plastic surgery excuse) Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got the drop on Peter (Wes Ramsey).
Well, drop might be an exaggeration. Jason put a bullet in Peter’s arm, and yet Peter still managed to get the upper hand, and a gun, which he used to cause the tunnel that he, his pursuers, and his victims were in, to collapse.
Back at the soap’s titular institution, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) faced the very real – very tragic – possibility of losing his girlfriend and their unborn baby.
