The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 17, 2021, features Carly doling out what she considers to be sage advice, Brook Lynn being forced to invite Valentin in from the cold, and Anna receiving a devastating update.
Carly (Laura Wright) graced the Metro Court with her presence, and after giving her kingdom the once over, she was upset to see Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) deep in conversation and Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) in the midst of what appeared to be a hushed argument.
Carly and Sasha retired to the restaurant’s restroom, and Sasha copped to being pregnant with Brando’s baby. Carly was thrilled that Sasha confided her troubles in her because if there’s one woman in Port Charles who knows from complicated, and potentially dangerous pregnancies, it’s Carly.
Mrs. Corinthos insisted to Sasha that she must not tell Brando that he’s the father, claiming that Cyrus would make the man’s life a living hell. And sure enough, the ponytailed villain was busily informing his underling that he wanted the name of the man who impregnated Sasha so that they may have a…friendly chat about responsibility.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) desperately tried to get the mansion’s occupants on her side in her ongoing argument with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) over whether or not he’d be making himself at home. Michael (Chad Duell) agreed with his cousin – he doesn’t want to be anywhere near, let alone in the same residence. Monica (Leslie Charleson), however, disagreed. And it is her house after all. Did they know that her husband Alan gave it to her?
Not only did Nina (Cynthia Watros) manage to find some incredibly damning evidence against Elijah (Dan White), but she also managed to slip out of the bad man’s grasp…but not without alerting his suspicions.
So, while he made plans to “take care” of the potential threat, Nina and “Mike” (Maurice Benard) decided to take a road trip to Corinth. It’s not a date mind you, but rather another fishing expedition. Surely they can find more dirt on Elijah.
Anna (Finola Hughes) attempts to make contact with Sean Donely, and convince Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to let her assist in getting her and the baby away from Peter (Wes Ramsey) were all for naught.
Tiffany called with news that Sean had passed, and Maxie flat out refused to accept any help offered by her godmother. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
