General Hospital Recap: Carly Pulls Away As Jason Goes In For A Kiss

The General Hospital recap for Friday, August 27, 2021, features Carly Corinthos refusing to give in to temptation, Nina Reeves and Liesl Obrecht plotting to end Peter August, and Ava Jerome Cassadine bidding her lover farewell.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Carly (Laura Wright) could really have used a break, having been dealt slings and arrows by Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) – so, it was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to the rescue. He arranged a party for two – for himself and Carly – at the Metro Court’s rooftop pool…and he even agreed to Carly’s request for a dance. But, when he leaned in for a kiss, Carly shut him down…she shut him down HARD!

GH Recap: The Peter Problem

How do you solve a problem like Peter (Wes Ramsey)? By killing him. Brutally. And in beautiful surroundings – hence Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl’s plan to lure the villain to St. Lucia, where the latter will deal with him. It’s honestly a great plan…but it may fail spectacularly, what with “Mike” (Maurice Benard) insinuating himself into the mix and all.

General Hospital Recap: The Best of the Rest

* Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) joined Ava (Maura West) at Kiki’s grave and learned that his wife plans to set sail for parts unknown.

* Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) paid Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit at Spring Ridge. And while Alexis did her utmost to encourage Spencer to reconcile with Nikolas, Esme showed an unhealthy interest in Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom).

* Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) happily turned over to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) the proof that Edward Quartermaine had planned to reinstate Jimmy Lee Holt into his will; Scott’s certain that the document will clinch Austin’s case.
