The General Hospital recap for Friday, August 6, 2021, features the world continuing to conspire against Carly Corinthos and Jason Morgan, a surprise reunion between Hamilton Finn and a would-be in-law, and frenemies coming together to beat the living crap out of a heavy bag.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly (Laura Wright) continued to snipe at each other over the perceived danger that the latter is putting their daughter in. Opposite this, Jason (Steve Burton) did Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) the courtesy of issuing him a final warning…but the mafioso didn’t seem the least bit fazed; which isn’t good news for Carly and Jason.
GH Recap: Blasts From The Past
Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) were put out by Naomi Dreyfus’s (Gigi Bermingham) sudden return to Port Charles – and by her dual announcements that she’s putting down roots, and she wants access to Violet (Jophielle Love).
At the Metro Court pool and spa, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) got reacquainted. She offered him a job as her bodyguard; he politely declined; they parted on very friendly terms.
Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that Harmony (Inga Cadranel) has been helping Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) compose letters. Harmony lets them peek at the correspondence, and Alexis finds a letter addressed to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
General Hospital Recap: Work It Out
Having already given Jason a piece of her mind, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) took to punching a heavy bag – with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as her spotter. The women discuss Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and Anna remains quiet about Finn’s claim to have killed him, and of the villain’s missing body.
