The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 3, 2021, features Cameron making the most boneheaded decision imaginable, Laura blowing her top, and Nina seeing off potential spoilers.
Everybody seemed on board for Operation: Free Jason (Steve Burton). Everyone, that is, except for Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry), Cameron (William Lipton), Cyrus (Jeff Kober), and his goons.
While Cameron stalked the halls determined to catch Jason and force a confession to Franco’s (Roger Howarth) murder, Cyrus was busy ordering Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death, and Jordan concerned herself with figuring out why everyone was acting so strangely.
In quick succession, Jason made his escape, doubled back to save Britt, and wound up taking a bullet courtesy of Cameron, who’d picked up a discarded gun and decided to take justice into his own hands.
The severely injured Jason, a totally flummoxed Britt, and the always helpful Brick (Stephen A. Smith) took their leave, but things weren’t looking so good for Cameron…
Laura (Genie Francis) had one job and one job only: play nice with Cyrus for the remainder of the evening. She managed to do so throughout the carefully arranged family dinner, but she finally lost her composure when her brother started comparing himself to Spencer.
Out came the claws and the vitriol and the righteous indignation. But as soon as she was finished, Laura saw the error of her ways…and Cyrus was quick to throw in a stealth threat all his own.
Having already ordered “Mike” (Maurice Benard) to remain cloistered in his room, Nina (Cynthia Watros) raced into The Tan-o and practically shoved Trina (Sydney Mikayla) out the front door. Phyllis (Joyce Guy) was only mildly suspicious of her charge’s actions, and “Mike” was just thrilled to see that Nina hadn’t left with Jax (Ingo Rademacher). On her way out, Phyllis gifted Trina with Smike’s special pasta sauce.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) had a major bone to pick with Finn (Michael Easton), but he had no time for her accusations. So, he did them both a favor by coming clean about Chase’s (Josh Swickard) poisoning and Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) villainy.
Yep, that’s right Liz – your precious Jason is innocent of Franco’s murder. Now, don’t you just feel foolish? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
