The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 26, 2020, features Brook Lynn putting her health on the line, Michael charging full steam ahead, and Sonny getting quite the shock.
A recuperating Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) was eager to recount her attack at Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) hand, but she was advised by her surgeon against speaking. Still, with a nod of her head, Brook Lynn was able to confirm all of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) suspicions.
Later, she chanced further injury to her throat by croaking out the words “Nelle,” “GPS tacker,” and “Wiley,” to a visiting Michael (Chad Duell). That spurred the anxious father into cracking the passcode to Nelle’s cellphone and discovering his vile ex’s exact location.
Michael left the hospital, making a beeline for his son… without a word to Chase (Josh Swickard) or Carly (Laura Wright). Meanwhile, Nelle happened upon the tracker-tagged stuffed animal and realized – much to her horror – that her luck might just have run out.
Jason (Steve Burton) summoned Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) and asked her to tend to Taggert’s injured shoulder. While Epiphany got to work, Jason took notice of her lack of surprise and quickly deduced that she had helped fake Taggert’s death.
Unfortunately, that was the only information he was going to get. When further questions were raised, Epiphany quickly shut him down, letting it be known that she was keeping mum. Once Epiphany bid the gentlemen adieu, Jason took a call from Sonny and informed him of a “situation” at the safehouse.
Upon arrival, Sonny was shocked to see Taggert alive and (relatively) well, and both he and Jason were left confused by the man’s ramblings about a young woman being held at gunpoint on the docks.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) spent her evenings paying her respects to former loved ones. First, she offered condolences to Michael. Then she headed to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) house to check on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Afterward, she turned to the little bag of cocaine she had been handed a few nights prior. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
