The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, October 20, 2020, features Brook Lynn and Valentin taking their love/hate relationship to the next level, Dante interfering in matters that are none of his business, and Carly giving Nina an unsolicited reality check. Or at least Carly’s reality.
Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) joined Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at Charlie’s Pub and the two spent the evening drowning their sorrows in booze. He ruminated on his plethora of mistakes with Nina. She rehashed her troubles with Ned (Wally Kurth). And they both agreed that Lulu (Emme Rylan) was holier than thou.
As the night wore on, and the drinks continued to flow, Brook Lynn and Valentin began to realize that perhaps they weren’t so different after all. And then the camera panned away as we assumed they kissed.
After being awakened by a nightmare, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) decided to roam the halls of Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) home and do some meddling. He chanced upon Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) – who had just decided to end their marriage – and extolled their seemingly perfect partnership. Who cares if they’re not actually in love? They like and respect each other. That’s SO much better…right?
Despite her better judgment, Nina (Cynthia Watros) decided to come clean to Carly (Laura Wright) about her involvement in Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) burial. As expected, Carly did not take kindly to the news. Furthermore, she insisted that Nina was only seeing to Nelle’s internment in hopes that it would ease her own conscience. Perhaps therapy would be an easier and cheaper option.
Sam (Kelly Monaco), having suddenly remembered that she’s a businesswoman with a business to run, reached out to Michael in hopes that he would run her half of Aurora Media. Oh, and she asked Sonny (Maurice Benard) his advice on how to handle Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her drinking. As expected, he was of little to no help.
Meanwhile, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) approached Brando (Johnny Wactor) and offered him a job. Though he wasn’t exactly thrilled at the prospect of acting as a driver/bodyguard, Brando accepted.
And he did so in full view of a very suspicious Chase (Josh Swickard) who knows there’s more to Jason’s (Steve Burton) accident than meets the eye. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
